Directions to Cold
Springs Campground The #183 trail (South Spur) starts at the
Cold Springs Campground. To get there from the village of Trout Lake,
take SR-141 North until it forms a junction with Mount Adams Road.
Approximately 1.2 miles on Mt. Adams Road a split with Buck Creek Road
going straight and Mt. Adams Road curves right.
Remain on Mt. Adams Road for another 0.65 miles to the junction with
NF-80. Turn onto NF-80 and remain on this road for 3.7 miles to the
junction with NF-8040. Turn right onto NF-8040 for approximately 4.7
miles when it becomes NF-500 (also known as NF-8040500).
You will see signs for "South Climb" along this route. Follow the
signs to the parking area and campground.

Morrison Creek Campground
To get there from the village of Trout Lake, take SR-141 North until
it forms a junction with Mount Adams Road. Approximately 1.2 miles on
Mt. Adams Road a split with Buck Creek Road going straight and Mt. Adams
Road curves right.
Remain on Mt. Adams Road for another 0.65 miles to the junction with
NF-80. Turn onto NF-80 and remain on this road for 3.7 miles to the
junction with NF-8040. Turn right onto NF-8040 for approximately 3.5
miles. The campground is located on the north (left) side of the road.

Creek Shelter
To get there from the village of Trout Lake, take SR-141 North until
it forms a junction with Mount Adams Road. Approximately 1.2 miles on
Mt. Adams Road a split with Buck Creek Road going straight and Mt. Adams
Road curves right.
Remain on Mt. Adams Road for another 0.65 miles to the junction with
NF-80. Turn onto NF-80 and remain on this road for almost 7 miles. The
shelter is visible near the road. |
