Climbing Pass, one per climber No cost.

A Wilderness Permit is required to climb Mount Hood, These permits are free and self-issued at the Climbers' Registration in Timberline's Wy'East Day Lodge. Access to the Climbers Registration is open 24-hours per day.

Group size is limited to 12.

Snow Cat Rides You may elect to hire a Snow Cat which will take you from the Timberline Parking lot to the top of the Palmer Ski area at 8,500'. The cost for the Snow Cat is $125 (2006) for the group and does not include a return trip.
